About the Event

In this talk I work with the concept of social sculpture, coined by  the artist, Joseph Beuys. Often acknowledged as an influence in the  creation of Project Row Houses, I suggest that social sculpture is a  neighborhood tradition that is present in the work of various  neighborhood organizations.
